How to calculate Additional Security Deposit(ASD)
As per Regulation 5(5) of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Supply Code, the adequacy of Security Deposit is reviewed and re-fixed once in two years in case of Low Tension consumers with bi-monthly billing, during April/May.

PROCEEDINGS:-
Sanction is accorded for creation of a post of Additional Chief Engineer/ Electrical, in the scale of pay of Rs.38200 67000 + 9,500 (Grade Pay) in Division-I, Class-I of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations read with the Tamil Nadu Electricity (Re-organisation and Reforms) Transfer Scheme 2010, in lieu of one post of Superintending Engineer/Electrical.
2. Under regulation 92 of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations read with the Tamil Nadu Electricity (Re-organisation and Reforms) Transfer Scheme 2010, Thiru K.Thangaraju, Superintending Engineer/Generation Circle/Kadamparai, is appointed as Additional Chief Engineer/Electrical, against the post sanctioned in para-1 above in Division-I, Class-I of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations read with the Tamil Nadu Electricity (Re-organisation and Reforms) Transfer Scheme 2010, with effect from 15.04.2015 i.e., the date of issue of promotion order to his junior Tmty.Rexeline Terese, Superintending Engineer/Electrical as Chief Engineer/Electrical vide reference second read above, and the post will be downgraded as Superintending Engineer/Electrical from the date following the date of his retirement.
3. Thiru K.Thangaraju, , Additional Chief Engineer/Electrical, will continue to discharge the duties and exercise the powers assigned to the post of Superintending Engineer only.
4. An option format is enclosed herewith. The official mentioned in para-2 above is requested to return the option format duly filled in within one month

தமிழக அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு அகவிலைப்படி 6 சதவீதம் உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த அகவிலைப்படி உயர்வு ஜனவரி 1ம் தேதி முன் தேதியிட்டு வழங்கப்படும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
ஓய்வூதியதாரர்களும் இதன் மூலம் பயனடைவார்கள் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும் இதுகுறித்து அரசு தரப்பில் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில் கூறியுள்ளதாவது:
இந்த அகவிலைப்படி உயர்வு உள்ளாட்சி நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் அரசு மானியம் பெறும் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் பணிபுரியும் அலுவலர்கள், ஆசிரியர்கள், வருவாய் துறையில் பணிபுரியும் கிராம உதவியாளர்கள், அங்கன்வாடி மற்றும் சத்துணவு ஊழியர்கள், ஊராட்சி உதவியாளர்கள், எழுத்தர்கள் மற்றும் வழக்கமாக அகவிலைப்படி அளிக்கப்படும் அனைவருக்கும் பொருந்தும்.
இந்த அகவிலைப்படி உயர்வினால் அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு ரூ.366/- முதல் ரூ.4620/- வரையில் சம்பள உயர்வு கிடைக்கும். இந்த அகவிலைப்படி 01.01.2015 முதல் கணக்கிடப்பட்டு ரொக்கமாக வழங்கப்படும். இயத உயர்வினால் சுமார் பதினெட்டு லட்சம் அரசு அலுவலர்கள் மற்றும் ஓய்வூதியம் பெறுபவர்கள் பயனடைவர். அகவிலைப்படி உயர்வின் காரணமாக அரசுக்கு கூடுதலாக ஆண்டொன்றுக்கு 1222.76/- கோடி ரூபாய் செலவாகும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மின் வாரியத்தில், காலி பணியிடங்களை நிரப்ப, மூன்று பேர் கொண்ட குழுவை அமைக்க, அதிகாரிகள் முடிவு செய்துள்ளனர். தமிழ்நாடு மின் வாரியத்தில், தொழில்நுட்பம், நிர்வாகம், செயலகம், தணிக்கை, கணக்கு என, ஐந்து பிரிவுகளில், 1.37 லட்சம் பதவிகளுக்கு, தமிழக அரசு அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளது. இதில், தற்போது, 88 ஆயிரம் ஊழியர்கள் பணிபுரிகின்றனர்; 49 ஆயிரம் பணியிடங்கள் காலியாக உள்ளன. இதனால், மின் உற்பத்தி, மின் வினியோகம், மின் கட்டணம் வசூலிப்பு உள்ளிட்ட ஏராளமான பணிகள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. மின் வாரிய தொழிற்சங்கங்கள் சார்பில், காலி பணியிடங்களை நிரப்பக் கோரி, தொடர்ந்து போராட்டங்கள் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. இதையடுத்து, புதிய ஊழியர்களை தேர்வு செய்வதற்காக, மின் வாரிய இயக்குனர்
ஒருவர் தலைமையில், மூன்று பேர் கொண்ட குழுவை அமைக்க, அதிகாரிகள் முடிவு செய்துள்ளனர். இந்த குழு, மின் வாரிய நிதி நிலைமையை கருத்தில் கொண்டு, கள உதவியாளர், கணக்கீட்டாளர், தட்டச்சர் உள்ளிட்ட பிரிவில், எத்தனை ஊழியர்களை தேர்வு செய்யலாம் என, ஆய்வு செய்ய வேண்டும். பின், ஆய்வு அறிக்கைகளை, உயர் அதிகாரிகளுக்கு வழங்கியதை தொடர்ந்து, ஊழியர் நியமனம் குறித்த அறிவிப்பு வெளியாகும் என, தெரிகிறது.
