I am to state that 11 Nos. Assessor Grade II mentioned in the Annexure -A selected and included in the panel for promotion to the post of Assessor are retained in their respective circles on promotion as Assessor, as they have already counted against the existing vacancies of Assessors.
2) I am to inform that with reference to note (1) in Annexure-II referred to in Regulation 93 of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations, orders of appointment and posting as Assessor may be issued to the promotees related to your circle in the Annexure of the panel under intimation to this Branch. Before issue of appointment orders, it may be ensured that the promotees possess adequate knowledge in Tamil or have passed the II class Language Test in Tamil as per T.N.E.B. S.R. 91(3).
3) It is certified that the above Assessors Grade II possess the requisite qualification to hold the post Assessor with effect from the date of their joining promptly. However the Superintending Engineer’s are requested to verify the minimum Regular Educational qualification of the promotee.
4) Receipt of this letter shall be acknowledge.

Under Regulation 92 of TNEB Service Regulations, 11 names of Assessor Grade II detailed in the Annexure-A of this memo are informed that they have been selected and included in the panel for promotion to the post of Assessor on regular basis.
2) The 3 names Assessors Grade II detailed in the Annexure-B to this memo are informed that they are not selected for inclusion in the panel for the reason furnished in the Annexure'B'. They are informed that they may prefer appeal against their non inclusion if any, to the CMD/TANGEDCO within two months from the date of cummunication of this memo. If no appeal is received within the prescribed time limit, the approved list communicated shall be deemed to be final.
3) Further, the panel is prepared based on the tentative seniority list and the panel seniority will be communicated seperately after finalising the seniority.
4) The List is communicated to individuals concerned. They are directed to acknowledge the receipt of this memorandum.
